We Think We’re A Strong Bet For A Horse Racing Betting Site

We’ve worked hard to create an elite horse racing betting site. Straight from the horse’s mouth, here’s why we think we’re a strong bet:

  • Comprehensive coverage: We offer horse racing betting on meetings in the UK, Ireland and across the globe each day, and you can explore a huge range of betting options.

  • Antepost markets: You’ll find ante post horse racing betting odds on major races like the Grand National, the Cheltenham Gold Cup, the Derby at Epsom, the Melbourne Cup and the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, but we also offer antepost betting on loads of other races.

  • Value-added features: We offer detailed racecards, live streaming and lots of additional features to enhance the user experience.

  • User-friendly app: It’s quick and easy to bet on horse racing via our iOS and Android app.

  • Secure payouts: We offer fast, reliable payouts via debit cards and instant bank withdrawals.

  • Lots of bonuses: You can claim special betting offers, such as Our Favourite Consolation, Goodness Only Knows and the popular Neck, Back & Craic offer.

  • Licensed and regulated: We’re licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission of Great Britain.

Horse Racing Betting Markets Available at BresBet

We offer a wide range of horse racing betting markets. These are the most popular bet types to consider:

  • Win: A simple bet on a horse to win a race. You can take a price, which means you’ll get paid out at the current odds if the horse wins. Alternatively, you can opt for the starting price, meaning you’ll be paid out at the odds available on the horse when the race begins.

  • Each-way: This bet has two parts – one on the horse to win, and another on the horse to place (finish in the top two, three or four places, depending on the size of the field). If the horse wins, both parts pay out. If the horse places, only that part of the bet will pay out.

  • Forecast: Predict the winner and the runner-up, in that precise order.

  • Reverse Forecast: Pick two horses to finish first and second in any order. A reverse forecast is two bets, so a £10 reverse forecast requires a £20 total stake.

  • Combination Forecast: Pick three horses, and two of them need to finish first or second, in any order. It encompasses six bets in total, so a £1 combination forecast requires a £6 stake.

  • Tricast: Pick the winner, the runner-up and the third-place horse, in that exact order.

  • Combination Tricast: Pick three horses, and they need to finish first, second or third in any order. Once again, a combination tricast covers six potential outcomes, so a £2 combination tricast results in a £12 total stake.

  • Double: Pick the winning horse in two separate races. Both horses need to win for the bet to pay off. The profit you earn from one successful pick rolls over to the next horse, causing your profit to snowball.

  • Treble: Select the winning horse in three separate races. All three runners need to win for the bet to succeed.

  • Accumulator: You can also bet on a four-fold accumulator, five-fold accumulator and so on.

There are loads of other betting options too. For example, a Lucky 15 allows you to choose four horses in separate races, and you then place single win bets, doubles, trebles and a four-fold accumulator on them.

Betting Markets On All The Major Horse Races & Events

We offer betting markets on all the biggest horse races and meetings each year. These are the mane events that stirrup excitement among our customers:

Cheltenham Festival Betting

The Cheltenham Festival is the pinnacle of the National Hunt season. This prominent meeting features the UK’s most prestigious jumps races. You can enjoy Cheltenham Gold Cup betting, and we also offer horse racing betting on the Champion Hurdle, the Champion Chase, the Stayers’ Hurdle and all the other races during the four-day meeting.

Grand National Betting

The Grand National is the world’s most famous horse race. Each year, an estimated 500 million people watch the action unfold at Aintree. We offer horse racing betting on this epic jumps race, which features fearsome fences like The Chair, Becher’s Brook and Canal Turn. It’s one of the main sporting events of the year, and you’ll always find competitive horse racing betting odds on the Grand National at BresBet.

Epsom Derby Betting

The Derby at Epsom is the richest and most prestigious flat race of the year in Britain. It’s inspired many famous races around the world, from the Kentucky Derby to the Japanese Derby, but this Group 1 race remains the blue riband of the turf. It’s one of the five Classics, along with the 2,000 Guineas, 1,000 Guineas, The Oaks and the St Leger, and you can bet on all of them here.

Royal Ascot Betting

The Royal Family are among the famous guests at this iconic meeting, which takes place over a five-day period in June each year. There are eight Group 1 races at Royal Ascot: the Queen Anne Stakes, King’s Stand Stakes, St James’s Palace Stakes, Prince of Wales’s Stakes, Ascot Gold Cup, Commonwealth Cup, Coronation Stakes and Platinum Jubilee Stakes.

Horse Racing Betting FAQs

How does each way betting work in horse racing?

An each-way bet is divided into two parts: one on the horse to win the race, and the other on the horse to place. To “place” means to finish in the top two, three, four or five positions, depending on the size of the field. If your horse wins the race, both parts of the bet will pay out. Only the place bet will pay out if the horse fails to win, but finishes inside the places.

What does SP mean in horse racing?

SP stands for the starting price in horse racing. It means that you will be paid out according to the horse’s starting price if it wins the race. The starting price refers to the odds available on the horse just before the race begins.

Where can I watch horse racing?

You can watch live horse racing at BresBet. We offer live streaming of all the biggest horse racing meetings in the UK and Ireland. That means you can enjoy horse racing betting and then watch the action unfold in one place.
